I am a highly experienced British DJ looking to fund a prolonged France visit in the summer of 2012.
I'm looking for gigs of any sort, where I can provide music for weddings, parties, village or town events, charity discos etc etc.

My diary and availability is still to be decided, so gigs will be on a first-come, first served, basis.

Main areas of interest are Brittany, The Loire and The Vienne

I will provide sound and lighting equipment, and all I would need at the venue is a 5 or 6ft table, one or two good electrical outlets ( i will have french plugs) and cover, if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
NOTE: Please ensure your neighbors and / or the Marie are consulted BEFORE planning any outside event, as amplified recorded music is NOT to everyone's taste.

Charges will depend upon calendaring, size of event / venue, number of likely guests and running times - but
I am currently quoting for weddings in the Vienne region of between €750 - €1500. Please don't let this price tag put you off asking for a quote though, as I aim to have my diary as full as possible, and so can negotiate!

Dates available are between July 23rd 2012 and August 31st 2012 (yes it's the UK school holidays) and maybe some others - availability upon application

Style of music - Anything from 1950's to 2012 - I generally play a wide mix of Chart, dance, and party music and am used to mixed audiences such as wedding or corporate function crowds. Please note, I am not a night club DJ - which is all about seamless mixing and maintaining a constant similar beat. My music choice is Dynamic, Eclectic and more varied.

Size of gig I am used to, average being 85-150 people, though I also have a lot of experience of gigs upto 500 guest in Marquees. I am happy to work for French, British Ex-Pat or Holidaying clients
